Shillong, Nov 27: Two churches were looted within 48 hours in the city.
After materials and money were stolen from Grotto church, Laitumkhrah, in the wee hours on Tuesday, another incident was reported from Unitarian Church, Madan Laban.

Regarding the incident in Madan Laban, a police source said that the matter was reported on Thursday around 8.30 am.
“Windows of the church were found broken, four flower pots and two chalices were missing”, the source added.
A case was registered in both the cases.
Police admitted that there were a few theft cases related to properties and electronic goods reported in and around the city for the past one week
