Mahila Cong chief demands reinstatement of staff
Shillong, June 7: The state Mahila Congress President Joplyn S Shylla has asked the West Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner to cancel the termination of service of Kyrshan Langwar who was employed on contractual basis at the Aadhar Enrollment Agency.
Kyrshan was a supervisor at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
In a statement issued on Monday, Shylla said the irresponsible and inhuman stand in such difficult times by way of terminating a person’s service just because he went to ask for his rights which is his entitlement, is injustice.
Shylla asked the deputy commissioner to cancel the order and reinstate the person.
It also asked the chief secretary to take note of the ‘irresponsible action’ by the DC’s office and take steps that those engaged in enrollment drive are paid their dues at the earliest.
