Shillong, June 29: The Catholic faithful of the Nongstoin Diocese will hold a peace rally on July 4 with an appeal to stop the ongoing violence in Manipur.
The rally will begin at 1 pm from Nongstoin Indoor Stadium to New Nongstoin Football Playground. The presidents of the Catholic Youth Federation and the Catholic Women Federation, the President of the Catholic Men Federation and the Bishop of Nongstoin Diocese, Rt Rev. Wilbert Marwein, who will also conclude the rally with a benediction, will be present.

Another mass rally of various Christian denominations will be held later in Nongstoin.
