Shillong, Feb 9: Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Raymond Kurbah on Thursday sought financial assistance to compete abroad.
Vikram Raja, Upgrade Marketing Group based in USA Los Angeles, said it is the first time that the group, which is representing a lot of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters, is signing Indian fighter like Raymond.
“We are trying to offer a platform for the fighters abroad so that they can strengthen their skills and also get more international exposure. Especially with the rapid growth of MMA in the scene I believe it is the right time we do these things. We hope soon we will have a fight news for Raymond in international promotions”, Raja said.
Raymond from Malki locality of Shillong said that he needs support from the people to take part in the international event.
He assured to do well and added that more trainings will help him to achieve the goal.
