Mother’s School at Sri Aurobindo Institute takes initiative to protect environment

Shillong, June 18: With an objective to create  awareness and action to plant more trees in and around the city, the Mother’s School at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture here has roped in students.

During the recent World Environment Day, children brought saplings, planted and watered them with great enthusiasm and pride. Thier slogans were aimed at redeeming the earth.

Children got the opportunity to explore the nature by way of holding mud and plants.

They organised Green March in campus and  teachers and children planted saplings.

The Principal of Mother’s School, Farida Khan said, “Today is a day to do positive- and earnest collaborative effort to infuse renewed support for environment conservation.
