Mother’s School remembers Tagore

Shillong, May 29: Mother’s School, Shillong recently remembered Tagore.

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, Mother’s School Shillong, celebrated 163th birth anniversary of Tagore, who revolutionised Bengali music with soulful melodies.

Rabindra jayanti was not just a commemoration  of Tagore’s birth anniversary, but a celebration of his profound impact on society and his message of universal harmony love and humanity, said a statement from the school.

Children of Mother’s School and teachers participated in cultural activities oraganised by the Mother’s School

Tagore was for development of body and mind of the child  through learning activity.

Art competition was conducted and
prizes and certificates were handed over to children for their participation

Guests of Kripa Foundation,senior citizens and children attended the event.
