Shillong, Mar 17: Mother’s School reopened with Intensified Pulse Polio Programme.

A team of Ganesh Das Hospital conducted
‘Pulse Polio Immunization Program 2024’ in collaboration with Mother’s School-SAIICS from March 4 to 6 2024 followed by house to house search coverage for the immunisation of children till 5 years of age.
The focus of the programme was to eradicate poliomyelitis and cover every child in and around Bivar Road area, said Farida Khan, Principal, Mother’s School SAIICS
In addition, polio eradication is to ensure that no child anywhere will ever again be paralysed by any form of poliovirus.
