Mothers’ School takes initiative to protect children from disease
Shillong, Oct 26: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture in collaboration with Ganesh Das Health expert and team conducted special immunisation recently.
Since protection of diphtheria tetanus and pertussis is necessary, the immunisation programme is one of the key interventions for the protection of children from life threatening condition which are preventable, said Farida Khan Principal, Mothers School Shillong.
New addition is the monthly immunisation of children from 10 years and above.
The programme of routine Immunisation services has always been part of universal immunisation programme held At SAIICS
From October, new Immunization initiative was undertaken which not only focuses on children (2 to 5 years) but also on 10 years and above
