Shillong, Aug 18: Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma has decided to write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an independent probe into implementation of smart meters in Meghalaya.
Price difference in the smart meters provided by the firm ( Rs 137.55 crore) and that of open market has prompted the AITC leader to write to the prime minister, seeking his intervention.
