Shillong, Oct 9: The North Eastern Hill University Manipuri Alumni Association (NEMAA) on Sunday provided financial assistance to seriously injured students in the recent peace rally demanding justice for alleged killing of two young students – Linthoinganbi and Hemanjit.
Assistance was provided to M Johnson at Shija Hospital, W Jotin and Uttam Soibam at Raj Medicity. Further, financial assistance was also provided to L Prem at Raj Medicity. NEMAA wished speedy recovery to all those injured persons and expressed gratitude to all who have been working relentlessly to bring peace and normalcy in Manipur.
