Shillong, Nov 17: NEHU started sending documents to the two-member central probe panel dealing with the university affairs underĀ VC PS Shukla.
Acting Vice Chancellor N. Saha said on Sunday on phone that he is on the job of sending necessary papers to the members of the probe team who are currently in New Delhi.
The team will also come to Shillong as part of the probe.
Prof.DP Singh, former Chairman of UGC and Prof Dilip Chandra Nath, former Vice-Chancellor of Assam University are the members of the committee.
As the Centre issued the probe order on Thursday last, it wanted the team to complete the task within 15 days.
Controversial appointments, declining university rankings, infrastructural neglect, and non-responsiveness of the VC on various demands are the terms of reference of the committee.
Saha said efforts will be made to reach out to the students who are still agitating demanding the resignation of NEHU VC.
As far as the examinations of the post graduate students are concerned, Saha said he will hold discussion with the Dean and others to discuss the matter.
