Shillong, June 14: The state BJP is preparing for bottheh GHADC and 2028 Assembly elections.
The BJP has appointed new state officers for 2025-2028.
He however ruled out the possibility of pulling out of the MDA-2
“As party prepares itself for future election in the state, the national president JP Nadda has approved a new state team to oversee the organizational preparation for 2028 electrons,” BJP state president Rikman G Momin told reporters at a news conferences held on Saturday.
The new state office bearers
Six vice presidents – Khrawboklang Basaiawmoit, Dr Bernadette Lyngdoh and Er Bipen Pradhan (Shillong City), Bernard N Marak and Anil Hajong (Tura city), Lakhon Biam (West Jaintia Hills), two state general secretaries – Wankibok Pohshna and Amitava Saha, six state secretaries – Anzie Ellicia A Sangma, Belbora Wankhar, Daniella L Nonglait, Sukhi Pariat, Commanderful Sana and Wilber Danngo Marak, state treasurer – Sarwan Jhunjhunwala, state joint treasurer – Ashok Singhania, media convener – Sabyasachi Ghose, chief spokersperson – Mariahom Kharkrang, IT convener – Sarad Bawri, social media convener – Fredee Aaron Kahit, office secretary – Dipika Dey and state cells convener – Deeya Singh Rathore.
