Shillong, April 24: Awakening India Movement chief Bashai Marbaniang on Monday urged the East Khasi Hills district administration to act against gambling during Melas.
Addressing a press conference, Marbaniang said gambling activities during various the Melas in the city will spoil the youths.

He warned that addiction to gambling can also lead to theft.
According to him, the deputy commissioner assured action.
