Shillong, Oct 28: The Executive Engineer (PHE), GSWS Division No-II, Mawphlang has informed that due to breakdown of the 750mm dia C.I. gravity main of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme at Pomlum village at 11:30 pm on October 27, there will be no water supply till the evening of October 30.
Shillong Municipal Board areas, Shillong Cantonment Board areas, Nongthymmai and Mawlai will be affected during the period.

The government said every effort is being made to complete the repair works for restoration of normal water supply by the evening of October 30.
