Shillong, May 12: The Anti Narcotics Task Force, East Khasi Hills arrested three persons from opposite NEEPCO besides seizing over Rs 2 akh and 67.96 gms of heroin, on Friday night.
The arrested persons are Monowar Hussain Mazumder(38), resident of Bivar road,Shillong, Bryan Lyngdoh(28), resident of Langkyrding,Shillong and Rangdajied Rumnong(33), resident of Lumdiengmet, Nongrah,Shillong.

The seized items are five soap cases of suspected heroin weighing 67.8 grams, one golden tobacco tin containing heroin weighing 0.16gms, one scooty bearing R/No. ML 05 M 0237, one Mahindra maximo plus pick up bearing R/No. ML 05 N 6577, three syringes and four mobile phones. Total cash recovered is Rs 2,33,500
