Shillong, Jan 10: After media reports on the death of three workers in a coal mine in Lad Rymbai, East Jaintia Hills, police said on Tuesday that they are ascertaining the matter.
“I have asked the SP to enquire into it and confirm”, DGP Lajja Ram Bishnoi said.

The SP said he is still ascertaining the matter.
According to some residents who informed an NGO here, one of the victims has been identified as Ten Siangshai residing at Musniang Rim near a school (in picture).
