Shillong, Jan 11: Police have confirmed the death of three coal miners in two adjoining villages- Musniang Rim and Musniang of East Jaintia Hills.
According to the police, the probe team is ascertaining the cause of deaths.

“We are building the evidence and proceed accordingly”, police added.
Some villagers had informed an NGO here that the name of one of the victims is Ten Siangshai, who is residing at Musniang Rim near a school (in picture).
Sources said due to the fear of action by the NGT and the High Court of Meghalaya, secrecy is kept by those who are involved.
