Shillong, Aug 18: Police secured the custody of 5 National Liberation Council of Nongkyndong (NLCN) militants for eight days after they were produced before the district court here on Thursday
Four more activists of the group, who are being brought from Jowai, will be produced before the court on Friday, a police official said.

Police arrested 10 members who are part of NLCN.
The woman who is the recruiter and record keeper of the NLCU is admitted at Ganesh Das hospital as she is pregnant for three months, police added.
The juvenile who was picked up by the police on Wednesday was sent to juvenile home . He is the self styled chairman of the outfit.
Police suspect the juvenile, a class X student, is related to HNLC leader Sainkupar Nongtraw.
