Chandigarh, July 25 (UNI): Haryana girl Priya Malik won gold medal in the 73kg category at the World Cadet Wrestling Championship in Hungary on Sunday.
Malik defeated Kseniya Patapovich in the summit clash.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatar congratulated Malik for making the country and the state proud.
Khatar said this happy news of “the daughter of Haryana winning gold comes just a day after Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu bagged silver medal at Tokyo Olympics”.
He wished all players and hoped they would bring laurels to the country.
