Shillong, Oct 13: The process of taking over SSA schools and implementation of pay structure for over 14,000 SSA teachers is in its final stage.
This was informed by the president of the Meghalaya SSA Schools Association (MSSASA), Aristotle C Rymbai, after meeting Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday.

“The meeting was very positive. The chief minister has informed the association that the paperworks regarding the pending issues… are in the final stages,” Rymbai told reporters.
A follow-up meeting has been scheduled for Thursday to further discuss the issues. The chief minister, Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui and officials from the department will attend the meeting.
