Shillong, July 29: Former Home Minister RG Lyngdoh (popularly known as Bah Bob) desired to be cremated instead of burial.
RG’s sister Ampareen Lyngdoh said the wish of his brother was to cremate his body.

Asked about the reason, Ampareen said it was his personal wish.
She said the family chose Sunday afternoon for his last rites at the electric crematorium at Mawbah.
Earlier in the day, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong (in picture), who visited his residence, recalled the contribution of his ‘friend’.
They were together in the Congress-led coalition ministry.
Congress legislator PT Sawkmie also paid tribute.
