Shillong, Aug 21: The movement of vehicles from Assam and Meghalaya was completely affected after the shut down by the taxi drivers of both the states in Ri Bhoi border.
This is the second day of protest after the KSU-sponsored bike rally turned violent in Shillong, on August 19.

Fuel supply has been affected due to the strike.
When asked, the Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Saini, said that the administration is making efforts to ensure fuel supply from Assam.
“We are coordinating with Assam counterpart to resolve it”, he added.
