Shillong, May 6: The PDF on Saturday joined the NPP by signing a merger document.
The president of PDF, Gavin Miguel Mylliem and the national president of the NPP Conrad Sangma signed and sealed the merger document.
Roster system to be implemented with prospective effect, implementation of ILP, recognition to Khasi language , solution to border dispute, improving air connectivity and power scenario among others are the conditions of the PDF in the merger document.
This means that the PDF merger with NPP is with conditions.
The general secretary of PDF Auspicious Mawphlang said the party is dissolved with the merger.
Banteidor Lyngdoh MLA said there are no permanent friends and permanent enemies in politics justifying the reason for joining the NPP.
