Shillong, Sept 4: Rynjah police station came under attack twice this year.
On September 2, around 3.35 am, some miscreants lobbed a ‘kerosene’ bomb inside Rynjah police station gate.

After it fell on the ground,the fire broke out but it was doused immediately and there was no damage. Police have registered a case.
When asked, East Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtnger said the object was found to be a kerosene bottle and not petrol.
The earlier petrol bomb attack on Rynjah police station was in May this year.
