Shillong, April 7: Sanbor Shullai MLA who is also the Chairman of the Monitoring cum Implementation Committee of 19th South Shillong Constituency has extended financial assistance of Rs 1,70,000 sanctioned under discretionary grant for 2022-23, to five voluntary organisations for organising their various social and welfare programmes for students, youths and general public for 2022.
The names of beneficiaries are Garo Baptist Church Fire Brigade Prayer Cell, (Lumsurvey) Bara Bazar, Shillong- Rs 50,000, Meghalaya Rongali Bihu Sanmilan,Asom Kristi Kendra, Stoney Land, Shillong Rs 50,000, Cantonment Harijan Community Welfare Organisation Anjalee Area, Cantonment Shillong Rs 50,000, Khasi Student’s Union NEHU Unit, Shillong Rs. 10,000 and Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association, Shillong Rs 10,000.
