Shillong, Aug.13: Mawlai legislator PT Sawkmie has demanded an independent inquiry into the killing of former HNLC general secretary Chesterfield Thangkhiew.
Sawkmie, while conveying condolences to the bereaved family ,said that police should have arrested Thangkhiew.

“There should be proper inquiry into the incident,”Sawkmie said.
