Shillong, Aug 5: Nine shops were gutted by fire at Laban last stop on Wednesday( August 5).
According to an eye witness, the fire started around 8.30 pm from a teer counter.

Fruit, vegetable and meat vendors were mostly affected.
Two fire tenders were rushed in to douse the fire.
The incident is after six houses were gutted by fire at Zigzag in Rilbong recently.
