Shillong,Aug 4: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has taken up the alleged atrocities of a Karbi militant group in the border.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma told reporters on Friday that he has already taken up with his counterpart and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the interference by the United People’s Front of Karbi Longri (UPFKL) outfit in West Jaintia Hills border ( Block I).

The joint visit of the chief ministers to the disputed border areas is scheduled after August 15.
There were complaints from the pressure groups and the residents regarding the atrocities of the militant group.
