Shillong, Oct 28: State TMC Vice President Zenith Sangma, brother of TMC leader Mukul Sangma, has resigned from the party, and the letter was accepted by the party president Charles Pyngrope.
Charles said as per the letter sent to him, Zenith resigned as Vice President, and he also quit the primary membership of the party.
“I have signed and accepted the letter, and this will be sent to the high command”, Charles added.
Sources said Zenith will rejoin the Congress on Wednesday in the presence of AICC and Congress leaders here.
