Shillong, April 29: The state will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to open National Games likely in March next year.
Speaking to reporters after chairing a meeting in this regard on Wednesday, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla said the state hopes to hold the national.games in March next year.
“We will be inviting the prime minister for opening the national games”, he said
According to the minister, except Assam all other Northeast states will be hosting Narion disciplines.û
