Shillong, Feb 6: Three kayakers from the state have won medals at the National Games in Uttarakhand.
Indra Sharma won silver in men’s Canoe Slalom and Kiran Devi and H Anandhi bagged bronze medals in the women’s Double Scull competition.

The Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) congratulated the kayakers on this feat. It also thanked Ian Vincent, who trains local talents in the White Water village in Ri Bhoi, and Sheela Vincent for the hard work.
Sharma is a 15-year-old C1 kayaker.
“His day starts at 3.30 am. Hats off to this disciplined, diligent young man who is also a good student,” MSOA said.
