Tibetan dignitaries visit governor

Shillong, Feb 16: The Tibetan settlement officer of Shillong, Pema Dhondup, made a courtesy call on Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
Member of Parliament Tsering Dolma, Abbot of the Gaden Choeling Buddhist Monastery, President of Local Tibetan Assembly, accompanied Dhondup and presented the governor with a traditional white scarf and a memento as a token of gratitude.

On behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration, both the MP and settlement officer thanked the central and the state governments for their “profound support and kind hospitality”.
