Shillong, Feb 2: Besides the arrest of two accused involved in the Police Bazar bomb blast case, two more persons were arrested by the police .
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma told reporters on Wednesday that the cabinet was informed about the law and order situation following the bomb blast on January 30.
Conrad said the arrested accused included those who made the bomb, planted it and procured the gelatin sticks.
First, the police had picked up a juvenile claimed to be the area commander of HNLC in Shillong region for his alleged involvement in the blast soon after the incident on Sunday.
Later one more suspect from Nongstoin was arrested.
Conrad said that the arrested people were sympathizers and supporters of HNLC.
He said the arrests were possible due to the CCTV footage.
The chief minister said the police are probing the network involved in the blast.
