Shillong, May 7: Meghalaya Trinamool Congress leaders will meet on May 10 in the city to discuss the future steps to strengthen the party.
State party president Charles Pyngrope said on Sunday that beyond the analysis of the election results, the party wants to move forward and strengthen it.
The meeting will discuss on all aspects to strengthen the party, he said.
Senior AITC leader Manas Ranjan Bhunia will also attend the meeting.
The TMC secured only 5 seats in the Assembly polls.
‘Did not have tea with Hek’
Pyngrope ruled out TMC MLAs joining the BJP.
BJP leader and cabinet minister AL Hek had said that he had tea with TMC leaders Mukul Sangma and Charles and discussed the need to join the BJP.
However, Charles said he did not take tea with Hek.
