Shillong, August 11: Tura SP VS Rathore who was monitoring the probe into Tura violence case was transferred on Friday.
In his place, the government brought the South Garo Hills SP Abraham Sangma.

Rathore has already handed over the charge following the notification of transfer on Friday.
The transfer of Rathore is at a time when the investigation into the Tura violence case is in full swing.
There were media reports that the separate investigation into the cause of the attack by the mob had revealed lapses on the part of the police leading to the violent incident.
