Shillong, Mar 11: Police arrested two persons including one HNYF member for planting the IED explosive resulting in injury to a resident of Harijan Colony on Saturday night.
They have been identified as Ebakordor Nongpluh (26) and Tarson Lymba (58), both residents of West Jaintia Hills.

According to East Khasi Hills SP Rituraj Ravi, while Nongpluh was arrested from Shillong, Tarson was arrested from Dawki on Sunday night.
Later, HNYF leader Sadon Blah met the SP who informed him about the involvement of Tarson who is a member of HNYF.
After they were produced before the local court, police got their custody for 10 days.
The police had earlier declared Rs 1 lakh reward for any one who can provide information on planting the IED.
