Shillong, April 3: United Democratic Party president Metbah Lyngdoh has said his party is confident to win the adjourned poll in Sohiong on May 10.
The UDP has fielded (L) HDR Lyngdoh’s nephew Synsharlang Kupar Lyngdoh.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Lyngdoh said that sympathy will be to the advantage of the party.
“Most of the people of Sohiong want to show gratefulness to late HDR Lyngdoh for his contribution to the constituency as a former MLA”, he said.
