Shillong, Dec 20: UDP MDCs have sought action against Nongkrem MDC Lambor Malngiang for extending support to the NPP-led Executive Committee.
On Tuesday Malngiang announced his decision to support the EC led by Pyniaid Sing Syiem.

UDP parliamentary party leader Titosstarwell Chyne told reporters that the emergency meeting of the parliamentary party has decided to write to the UDP chief Metbah Lyngdoh to immediately take disciplinary action against Malngiang for the alleged anti-party activity.
Chyne said Malngiang is an MDC of the party, who had joined recently and he had also contested the 2023 Assembly polls on UDP ticket.
