Shillong, Feb 26: The VPP has proposed the name of Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh MDC Shemborlang Rynjah as the next Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the KHADC.
A meeting was held at the residence of VPP president Ardent Basaiawmoit on Wednesday to decide on the the CEM and other functionaries.
The proposed Executive Members(EMs) of the KHADC include Powell Sohkhlet (Pariong-Mawthadraishan), Seiborlang Warbah(Mawkynrew) Isnei Hinge (Umroi) Pynkhraw Kharjahrin(Mawkyrwat) Aibandaplin Lyngdoh Nonglait(Mylliem), Deity Majaw(Laitumkhrah) and Winston Tony Lyngdoh( Nongthymmai)
The meeting decided to nominate Strongpillar Kharjana (Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah) as the chairman and Kynjohlang Rangtong ( Mawhati ) as Vice Chairman.
The members will take oath on Thursday and election of the chairman and the CEM will be held on Friday.
