Shillong, May 13: A delegation of VPP youth and womens’ wings met Education Minister Rakkam Sangma on Monday seeking his intervention to address the plight of students affected by CUET-UG as many got centres outside the state.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting , the VPP youth wing secretary Nathaniel Mawrie said that they are against deferring the examination as sought by the Chief Minister but instead the government should help the students to have the centres in Meghalaya and it can also provide assistance to the students who got admission outside the state by opening a help line.
