114 cases in Nagaland in a day; night curfew in Dimapur & Tuensang
Kohima, Apr 24 (UNI): Nagaland recorded 114 fresh COVID-19 infections on Saturday, pushing the total number of positive cases in the state to 13,003.
Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister Pangnyu Phom in his regular tweet informed that there were 101 cases in Dimapur, four in Kohima, two in Mokokchung and seven in Phek. There are reports of recovery of two positive patients in the state.
Following the imposition of night curfew in Dimapur town from Sunday, the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Task Force for COVID-19 in Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, issued an order for night curfew between 7pm to 5am.
The order also said that social, academic, entertainment, cultural, political or religious functions outside of containment zone will be limited to 50% of the seating capacity or 200 persons, whichever is lower.
Persons arriving from outside the state will have to be in self-isolation for 10 days, if no negative RT-PCR or TrueNat or CBNAAT test report for COVID-19 (test done not earlier than 72 hours prior to entry into the state) is produced on arrival, or if the test result is awaited, or if the person concern has not completed the COVID-19 vaccination.
