Shillong, Oct 17: The East Khasi Hills District Basketball Association will be organizing the first ever above 30 Basketball Tournament in the city.
The event will be held at the St Anthony’s Hr Sec School from October 18 to 23, 2021. With a total of 15 teams participating in the tournament from all over the state. There are 9 Teams in the Men’s category and 6 Teams in the Women’s Category.
The event will be streamed live on the East Khasi Hills District Basketball Association Facebook Page. The teams that are taking part in this tournament are :- Men’s Category : Iaineh S.C, Eastern Range, 99 problems, Lumshyiap United, Mawphlang , Madanriting, Nongstoin Ballers, Nongrim Hill S.C, Promising S.C. Women’s Category: SYM, Sparkles, Promising S.C, Splash, Jowai Ballers, Lawsohtun Marvels.
The East Khasi Hills District Basketball Association (EKHDBA) is the governing body of basketball in the district of East Khasi Hills which is affiliated to the Meghalaya Basketball Association. Its main aim is to build a plan and implementing it to build a basketball system for a better basketball future
