Shillong, June 23: Environmentalist HH Mohrmen has joined the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).
Mohrmen has announced his decision to contest the upcoming 2023 assembly elections from Jowai.

Taking to twitter, AITC leader and Opposition chief whip George B Lyngdoh welcomed Mohrmen and his supporters to the party fold.
“We heartily welcome Ma H.H. Mohrmen & his leaders to the TMC family. May he flourish in his leadership as he continues to guide & lead people upfront; unitedly we pray for God’s blessings as they fight for our beloved people!” he said.
