Shillong, Jan 25: Khasi Duitara instrument maker and musician from East Khasi Hills Risingbor Kurkalang was awarded Padma Shri in the Art (Folk Music) category, a tweet by Press Information Bureau said.
The award was announced by the Centre on the eve of Republic Day on Wednesday.
