Three days for Opp members during budget session

Shillong, Feb 6: The Opposition members will get three days during the Budget session starting from February 28 to March 13.
Out of ten working days, seven days have been allotted for government business.
The calendar was fixed after the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
Speaking to reporters, Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma said though there will be only three days for the private members, enough time will be given to everyone to participate, and in case of a shortage, the session could be extended, even on Friday, if required.
The BAC meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister in charge- Parliamentary Affairs, Prestone Tynsong, Leader of the Opposition, Mukul Sangma, Legislators Charles Pyngrope and Lahkmen Rymbui and senior government officials.
