Shillong,June 28: Chief Secretary DP Wahlang has said police was given a free hand to investigate the murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the chief secretary said that though there was pressure from many quarters, police investigation led to the arrest of culprits.

“Of course, it was challenging, time was a challenge,terrain was a challenge..but police cracked the case and it is a water tight case and police would be able to file charge sheet within stipulated time”, Wahlang said.
