Shillong, June 1: Police may arrest more people in connection with the assault of five workers at the Centrepoint resort site in Laitkynsiew.
Two KSU activists were arrested following the incident on Thursday (May 28) .

“We got custody of them for four days and more arrests will follow”, the East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem told reporters on Monday (June 1).
According to the managing director of the Centrepoint, around 15 youth claiming to be from the KSU assaulted the workers at the site.
