
Shillong, July 17: The state government will table the resolution against uranium mining in August.
Speaking to reporters on Friday (July 17) after attending Behdienkhlam in Tuber, East Jaintia Hills, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that deadline to start next Assembly session is August 27 after the last session was held six months ago.

“Hence, in the next session, the matter will be taken up, Conrad said in response to a question whether there will be a special session to pass the uranium resolution.
