Goons assault filmmaker Dominic Sangma in Arunachal

Shillong, Sept 17: Two goons assaulted Meghalaya filmmaker Dominic Sangma, 4 students and a security guard in Arunachal Pradesh.
The incident took place on September 16 along the public road stretch between Jollang-Rakap Bazaar and FTII campus,
Dominic is a faculty member of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Itanagar.
A case was registered at Balijan Police Station, Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Taba Denia, Executive Officer (Administration), FTII, Itanagar, resident of FTII Campus, Jollang-Rakap, lodged the complaint.
The accused persons have been identified asTechi Nanu, and Techi Sanjay, both from Rakap Village.
According to the complaint, after 6.30 pm, the duo attacked Dominic Sangma, Head of Department, Screen Writing, FTII Itanagar, students Jay prakash Chaudhary, Sidhant Bhooshan, Amarjeet Yadav, Bharat Kumar Mahto, and security guard Kula Swargiary at FTII Itanagar, resulting in injuries.
