Shillong, Oct 5: Educationists, a medical doctor and an IIM graduate form part of Voice of People Party, a new regional political outfit announced by former KHADC chief and MLA Ardent Basaiawmoit.
While Basaiawmoit will be the president of the party, other functionaries are retired assistant professor of St Anthony’s college Dr Kara J Sten (Vice President), Dr Ricky AJ Syngkon, assistant professor NEHU – general secretary, Dr Batskhem Myrboh, assistant professor (political science) Synod college – assistant general secretary cum spokesperson, Dr Peter Daniel S Khariong from Woodland hospital – finance secretary, IIM graduate Winston Tony Lyngdoh, who is also former community development facilitator (World Vision) – organizing secretary and Rocky Marak – organising secretary in-charge Garo Hills.
